Do-Dream business is the program that meets the psychosocial characteristic and needs of youth who are having hard time advancing into society. It helps youth who are socially disadvantage to successfully enter society by providing catered programs. We offer mental and emotional support, information, vocational training and tailored self-sufficiency programs to help youth setting the career goal and achieving it. This helps youth to become positive member of society.
Employment Training Center in Do-Dream allows youth to experience making fashion accessory and props and selling them. Although degree of completion of the product can be low, it is a good opportunity for youth to experience production process and sales process and experience economic activity. All the profits from the sales will be utilized as personnel expenditure and the material cost.
We offer Academic Support Program and professional counseling to dropout students who are socially disadvantaged. Through diverse programs including Learning Clinic, 1:1 Study Mentor program, qualification exam preparatory class and cultural experiences, we offer an opportunity for socially disadvantaged young people to try achieving their dreams once again.
We offer immediate and professional help to students who are exposed to school violence and prevent possible danger. 117 School Violence Report System offers one-stop service including dispatching advisors to police office 117 School Violence Report Center, cooperating with police, and offering 24-hour helpline service that help problems related to school violence.
Youth who received regular and organized training helps other students¡¯ problem solving, and acts as a helper who promote sound school culture and prevent school violence.
To enhance relationship and cooperation between youth related organizations and institutions and promote early discovery of youth at risk, we have established executive committee.
Operating Committee which is composed of 14 committee members has been having meetings regarding youth at risk and functions and status of Seoul Youth-Integrated Support System. Also, by discussing about Seoul Youth-Integrated Support System and its business plan, it helps establishment and vitalization of SYS-Net Business.
We offer group counseling program to middle and high school students in Seoul during vacation time, so students can truly understand how others feel and communicate with others to practice the right way of giving their opinions. This group counseling and growth project help them to build interpersonal skills.
