What is the Youth Companion System?

‘Youth Companion’ is the expert who is high qualified and experienced in field of youth counseling. A youth companion will exploit the diverse resources throughout local society from the teenager’s point of view. He/she will be developing a lasting relationship with youth at risk and support accomplished life of teenagers as an emotional supporter.

Content of Youth Companion Program

• Proactive counseling support
  • - Provide mental support via proactive counseling that personally visits youth
• Emotional support
  • - Establish mutual trust and provide mental and emotional support via continuous relationship
  • - Help youth to promote self-improvement and have motivation and stability.
• Life support connection
  • - Visit youth who need help and connect them with regional resources.
      (Counseling, room and board, education, medical care, legal support, leisure, vocational training, and job search)
  • - Analyze case of youth problem and help youth to choose a better way of life.
  • - Support services that enhances self-improvement
  • - Provide foundation of constructing positive interpersonal relationships
  • - Support youth to promote successful social reintegration as a member of society

  • - Provide program-based support to improve self-esteem and promote self-improvement through diverse life
